We are advocates for all things related to those topics and we strive to make sure they are all available for future generations.

Robert Dougherty

Author

Trapper, Hunter, Fisher, Writer, and Advocate

Robert is the Author of The Ethical Sportsman. With a strong background in amateur creative writing, he's decided to put those skills to use in advocating for the outdoor activities he loves. Growing up in the farm town of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, he also spent a lot of time with is cousins in Maine. His favorite times are fishing with the family, digging clams, and archery hunting for wild turkey and whitetails. In recent years he has also become an avid squirrel hunter and fur trapper. He is now a professional nuisance wildlife trapper as well.

Kelly Dougherty

Editor

Fisher, Boater, Editor, and all around Best Wife Ever

Kelly is the Editor for The Ethical Sportsman. While she provides great insight on the topics we cover, she also has a long history in the outdoors. She grew up in the coastal town of Marshfield, Massachusetts and has spent years fishing these waters. Although she has experience in several styles of fishing, nothing compares to spending a day in a canoe with a rod and reel and a bucket of shiners.
